Rita Ora begins X factor judging

She may only be new to the music industry herself but that didn't stop Rita Ora from bagging herself a guest judging role at the X Factor auditions, which she began today.


Filling the vacant seat on the judging panel left by Kelly Rowland, Ora is a stand-in judge for today's auditions in London. Over the last week Geri Halliwell and former X Factorwinner Leona Lewis have stood in to fill the vacancy.

The 21 year-old R.I.P. singer tweeted earlier on upon arrival at the auditions 'IM HERE...... I CANT BREATHE! X-FACTOR..... IM JUST LIKE YOU REMEMBER THAT. IVE JUST STARTED TOO IM HERE TO HELP!'.

Ora, who is sitting comfortably within the Irish Top 20 with her debut single featuring Tinie Tempah, bagged a UK No.1 last week.

The singer wore a white dress and blazer combination with a high collar and a selection of necklaces. She accessorised her quirky look with tartan wedges and jewel-encrusted sunglasses.

Her fellow judge Tulisa Contostavlos tweeted she was happy that the young singer was joining the panel today.

Rihanna Reportedly Dating Another Bad Boy-- New York Knicks Player J.R. Smith

Rihanna has reportedly found love again - this time with another alleged bad boy.

Less than a year after ending her relationship with Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp the "We Found Love" singer has been spotted hanging around with New York Knicks player J.R. Smith, one of the most heavily tattooed players in the National Basketball League (NBA), according to the New York Daily News.

The couple was spotted earlier this month at New York's Veranda nightclub, where, according to In Touch magazine, they were "they were very flirty in the club all night and holding hands." Rihanna was also seen sitting on Smith's lap and appeared "really into him."

This weekend the couple was spotted together again, this time at Miami's Fontainebleau Hotel on Sunday night.

Like Rihanna's ex, Chris Brown, it seems that Smith is no stranger to trouble, either - the shooting guard was arrested over the weekend in South Beach on an outstanding warrant for driving without a license.

Smith was also fined $25,000 by the NBA back in March for a lewd image he posted to his twitter page - that of a woman's behind in a thong, taken from the bed in his hotel room.

And in 2007 he served 24 days of a 30-day jail sentence in New Jersey for an accident caused by reckless driving. Smith ran a stop sign in his SUV and collided with another car, ejecting both himself and his passenger, close friend Andre Bell, from the vehicle. Bell died in a hospital two days later from head injuries sustained in the crash.

Smith's sentence was the result of five traffic tickets he received over the accident.

Rihanna's been flirting with her own bad girl image also. In January she had the phrase "THUG LIFE" tattooed across her fingers in a tribute to late rapper Tupac Shakur; and she posted the above image, of "My new #thuglife cooking gadget" to her instagram page on Saturday.

The 21-year-old singer didn't expect the media mogul to be present when she flew to New York to meet with his Roc Nation record label and was completely overwhelmed when she walked into the room and was greeted by the 'legend'.
She told Q magazine: 'I went straight from the airport and I thought it was just a boring meeting.
'He was sitting there and I went into shock. I mean, he's a legend.'
Rita is currently working on her debut album and though she is collaborating with a number of high-profile stars, she insists she has full control over the record.
She said: 'There are a lot of co-writers, Chase Status, Drake and Stargate, but the concept always comes from me. Even when it's someone as big as Drake.'
Rita was born on Kosovo but moved to the UK from the war-torn region when she was just one year old, and says her background has made her more driven.
She said: 'We were lucky to get out of there when we did. It's made me strive harder.'
